Is 2007 budget cares Common man ??
He didn't take any risks and played it safe by presenting a normal budget. As expected prices of cigarettes, beedies etc and prices of sunflower oil, diamonds, watches, shoes and instant food are reduced.
Percentage of money spent on Education, Agricultural reforms and for rural employement schemes have been increased. But who ensures that these fund are utilised in properly and our money is spent for the desired cause.
But tax payers are dissapointed because of his marginal increase of Rs.10,000 on taxable range but there is no change tax slabs.
